Would You Like to Join Brookwood?

 

 

Would you like to be a member of Brookwood?  There are two ways that your family can become a member.  You can either purchase a bond or rent one for one summer as a trial member.

 

Purchasing a Bond

 

Brookwood has a limited number of membership bonds available to the public.  In 2008, you can purchase a bond and pay for it using either of the payment plans listed below:

*  Bond payments made for the first year will be forfeited if the required bond payments for the second year and summer dues are not paid in full.

Trial Membership

You can rent a bond for one summer to try out the pool.  The annual dues are $425 and you can only rent a bond for one year.  There are a limited number of trial memberships available for the summer.  If you want to continue your membership the following summer you must purchase a bond.  Complete a Brookwood Family Renter Form if you want to rent a bond.

Bond Transfer Procedure

 

 

The process for a Brookwood member to sell their bond is:

 

  • The bond must be current and all prior years’ dues paid for the bond to be eligible to be transferred.

 

  • The seller and buyer must agree upon a price and exchange the money.

 

  • The seller must give the purchaser their 2008 membership information form and package. The seller should cross out their information on the membership form and have the purchaser insert their information above each applicable line.

 

  • Mail the bond, membership form, and the 2008 summer dues to Brookwood Swim Club, P.O. Box 17682, Edgewood, KY  41017 OR drop it off at the front desk at the pool.

 

  • The purchaser can pick up their membership cards at the pool. The re-registration of the bond will take several weeks.

 

  • It is Brookwood's policy to issue a NEW Bond in the purchasers name.
