We are very excited about the upcoming season!!!  There are just a few dates that I want to get to you before the pool opens for the season.  We are in the process of getting the website updated so the information will be accurate.  You can email me at mhuffy@insightbb.com if you have any pressing questions.

 

Saturday, May 29th from 12-2 is our annual sign up day at Brookwood.  The registration fee is $50 per swimmer and includes a team t-shirt.  Swimville will be available for team suit and equipment purchase.   We are in the second year of our team suit so if your swimmer’s/diver’s  purchased one last year they may not have to purchase a new one. 

 

Wednesday, June 2 at 6 pm we will be having a meet the team/coach night.  Coaches and boosters will be present to answer any questions and registration will also be continuing on that night.  The dive coach is Missy Meyer. Our swim coaches this year are Mary Jane Day and Erin Fitzpatrick for the 8 and unders and 9-10’s.  Ethan Reynolds for the 11-12’s and welcoming back Kevin Mayleben and Lance Melching for the 13 and overs.  Practice begins on Monday, June 7th.  Tentative practice times:

 

Diving:  All Dive meets on Tuesday at 6:30.

            11-12 and 13 and Over.  Monday-Thursday 8-9 am

            8 and under and 9-10’s.  Monday-Thursday 9-10 am.

Swimming:  All Swim meets on Thursday at 6:30.

            8 and under and 9-10’s.  Monday-Wednesday 8:15 to 9:30 am

            11-12 and 13 and Over.  Monday-Wednesday 9:15 to 10:45 am

            All swimmers practice on Thursday at the same time.  9 to 10:30 am.

 

Our team needs many volunteers to be successful.  Please keep the following dates in mind and attend if you can.

Monday, June 7th at 7pm at Five Seasons.  The dive clinic is for the coach and any parents interested in judging during the diving meets.  We need diving judges for every meet.

Wednesday, June 9th at 7pm at South Hills Civic Club in Fort Wright.  The swim clinic is for coaches and any parents interested in officials training.  

We need officials for every meet.  Please consider officiating this season.
